“Nashville On The Hill,” Bishops Hill Winery’s Sunday summer music series featuring touring performers from Music City, is back in 2026 for its third year of amazing artists and shows! We’re pleased to partner once again with University of St. Francis in making these shows possible!

This summer’s lineup at the castle includes a 2026 Grammy nominee, a Songwriter Magazine “Song Of The Year” winner, an RIAA Gold record and 2026 Top Ten songwriter, and an internationally known musician/birding influencer. Shows will run from 3:00-5:00 PM on June 14, July 19, August 16 and September 13.
“Early Bird” full-series tickets are available until May 15 for the discounted price of $70. Full-series tickets increase to $80 from May 16 until the first show on June 14. Single-show tickets are available for each show for $25. As always, each ticket includes a free glass of wine per show!
June 14 – We welcome Ava Suppelsa and Bonner Black. Suppelsa, daughter of retired WGN anchor Mark Suppelsa, co-wrote Ryan Griffin’s 2023 Top 40 hit “Salt, Lime and Tequila” and earned her first RIAA Gold record in 2026 with Max McNown’s Top Ten smash hit “Better Me For You (Brown Eyes)” Bonner Black, part of our very first Nashville show in 2024, returns with a new album due out (“Little Bird In A Big Sky”) and a legion of new fans she’s gained combining her music talents with her love of birding, making her one of America’s fastest-rising birding influencers. Her combination of music and birding has earned her relationships with Audubon Society, Wild Birds Unlimited, Zeiss Binoculars and birding festivals throughout the U.S. and Europe!

July 19 – We’re delighted to welcome Makena Hartlin, Mary Marguerite Hall and Simon Martensson. Hartlin is an award-winning songwriter who moved to Music City in 2020 after winning two $10,000 Chicago singing contests. Her songs, voice and performing presence opened doors immediately, earning her the nickname “Songbird Of Nashville.” She’s played stages around the country, recorded with Grammy-winning producer Tyler Chester and won numerous songwriting awards, including Songwriter Magazine’s “Song Of The Year” in 2025. Mary Marguerite is known for her mellow, indie sound, and has a varied career as both a music artist and actor in several feature films. In 2026, Hartlin and Mary Marguerite are debuting their joint project, “The Pages.” They’re joined by Swedish-born, Nashville-transplant and 2026 Grammy-nominee Simon Martensson, a multi-instumentalist, producer and band leader who has collaborated with several Grammy-nominated producers and artists, most notable, multi-platinum artist CAM. In 2025, he co-wrote and produced the song “Daughter” on Beyonce’s Grammy-winning album “Cowboy Carter.”

August 16 – We welcome Stacy Antonel and Sophie Gault. A genre-defying artist, Antonel blends Country, Jazz and Surf Rock with a powerhouse voice to create a sound all her own. A San Diego native, she built upon success in her band “Ginger Cowgirl” and moved to Nashville in 2017 to pursue her career under her own name and original songs. Sophie Gault writes songs that swagger, stumble, wink, and bleed. She comes to the winery in support of her third full-length album, “Unhinged” on which she triples down on the risk-taking drive that has revved her from dive bars to the big tents, crafting a record that feels at once deeply personal and side-eye defiant.

September 13 – We close out the Nashville season with Caroline Kid and Nicholas Kenton. Kid is a singer/songwriter originally from Iowa whose music lives at the intersection of Country, Americana, and Pop. A one-time Miss Oregon in the Miss America Pageant, her decade in Nashville has earned her a reputation for sharp lyrics and songwriter-driven melodies. Her music has received recognition from CMT, ACM, CMA, Entertainment Tonight, The Boot, and ASCAP, and Authority Magazine named her one of “Nashville’s Rising Stars.” Nicholas Kenton is a songwriter, musician and producer with over a decade of Music City experience. He trained at the Blackbird Academy then worked as a producer and performer at Gibson, USA in Nashville. He’s played over 500 live shows and written, produced, or mixed hundreds of songs for artists across all genres. His most recent single, “Let Me Down,” was released in 2025.

Our 2026 shows take place on June 14, July 19, August 16 and September 13 from 3:00 – 5:00 PM. Thanks to our friends at University of St. Francis, we have an indoor home for our Nashville shows at USF if inclement weather prevents us from holding a performance at the castle. Tickets for the “Nashville On The Hill” series are available at www.bishopshill.com, at the winery or by calling 312-320-1610.
